Aontas STAR Awards 2009

Galways very own Access Music Project, today recieved an Aontas STAR achievement award for adult learning projects at a ceremony marking the beginning of the third annual AONTAS Adult Learners' Festival.

Minister for Lifelong Learning Sean Haughey and TV personality Mary Kennedy made the presentation to Chair of the Board Jimmy Higgins and Project Co ordinator Eilish O'Connor, awarding the project Regional Connaught Winners. Over two hundred representatives from different adult learning organisations across the country attended the ceremony at Dublin Castle today.
